Comments (from original trader): This recording captures Stevie Nicks' opening set for Billy Joel at Soldier Field during their brief summer tour together. Had I known how robust the setlist would be for both performers, I probably would have gone to the show despite the steep ticket prices ($200+). Stevie's opening set featured a great cross-section of her career both solo and with Fleetwood Mac; an added bonus featured Billy Joel reprising Tom Petty's vocal part on "Stop Dragging My Heart Around." The set also featured a nice cover of Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" and a nice dedication to the late Christine McVie. In terms of sound quality, this is quite good given the stadium setting. Billy's set sounds better, but even so this recording captures a good balance of vocals and the various instruments on stage. There is random audience interference, but nothing that interferes with one's enjoyment of the recording. Since there haven't been many Stevie recordings posted from this tour, I thought this might be worth the share. If you are a fan of Stevie and/or Fleetwood Mac, you will probably consider this worth the download. This was quite an enjoyable set, particularly long considering she was the opening act. Many thanks to TallTaper for taping and sharing. I was just the helper who EQ'd and tracked it.
